For five consecutive years, the Business Angel Summit (BAS) has been a meeting point where startups meet capital, not just in theory, but in practice. Founders come to BAS not only to pitch, but to sit across from the people who can accelerate their next stage of growth: angel investors, venture capital funds, and regional ecosystem leaders.
From October 7–9, 2026 in Sarajevo, the Summit will once again bring together 200+ investors, VC funds and key startup ecosystem players from across the Western Balkans and Europe. It is one of the region’s most important investment gatherings, where early-stage startups get direct access to decision-makers who fund and scale companies.
This year’s edition continues this mission on a larger scale. At the Business Angel Summit 2026, the best pitch doesn’t just win the room. It goes to San Francisco.
Foundation 787 and the BHBAN network, in partnership with Pegasus Tech Ventures, Silicon Valley VC and organizer of the Startup World Cup, are bringing a new global dimension to BAS26. The winner of this year’s pitch competition will earn a place on one of the world’s most prestigious startup stages: the Startup World Cup Grand Final in San Francisco, on November 6, 2026, competing alongside the world’s most promising startups in front of leading global investors.
Therefore, we are officially opening the second round of applications for the Business Angel Summit 2026 (BAS26) and this year, the opportunity goes far beyond the region.
If you applied in the first round, your application is already in the selection process. No additional steps are required, Foundation 787 team will contact you directly with next steps.
